We are developing an mHealth prototype that connects people to community resources near them that may help them stay healthy and lead healthy lifestyles. For this study, mHealth is understood to be a “medical and public health practice supported by mobile devices, such as mobile phones, patient monitoring devices, personal digital assistance, or, PDAs, and other wireless devices" (World Health Organization, 2011).
This survey was approved by the UNO/UNMC Institutional Review Board (IRB) # 589-20-EX. There are no anticipated risks in participating in this study. All of the information you provide will remain confidential and only be viewed by the research team. To be able to determine if resources are available in your area, both this survey and mHealth prototype collect location data from your device. This location data will not be connected to your identity and will be aggregated for analysis. Your identity will remain confidential.
