Thank you for your interest in MavEd Orientation: Teaching for Impact in UNO’s Revised Gen Ed Curriculum. The orientation will provide comprehensive guidance to prepare faculty to deliver high-quality, engaging, and effective instruction in their general education courses. Additionally, participants will learn about general education assessment expectations and their responsibilities in the process. Participants will meet in small groups for an hour, four times over a semester and receive $300 upon successful completion.
Orientation is intended for full- and part-time faculty not directly involved in general education course redesign but who teach a general education course or those who simply want to learn more about UNO's recently revised general education. (Faculty wishing to redesign an existing general education course or create a new general education course should enroll in an upcoming MavEd Course Design Workshops – Realizing the Hope of General Education. Contact
Matt Tracy or
Connie Schaffer for additional information on MavEd Course Design Workshops).
