This course explores the impact of instructional pedagogy on student learning and how implementing simple strategies can help improve student achievement, motivation, and engagement.
This 3-month course is asynchronous and has a rolling start date. This course is available for all faculty except those who have completed the course in the past. Participants will receive a $1,000 stipend for successfully completing all discussions and assignments.

Full-time faculty members, please note that payment for completion of this course will be applied against your Authorized Overload. Per Exec Memo #19 and the Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA), Overload is calculated at 20% of your base pay during the academic year and one third of your base pay during the summer semester. For additional details on your Authorized Overload or the balance of overload authority remaining, please contact your college business manager. For concerns regarding payment status for this course/workshop, please reach out to Myah Lanoux-Nguyen (mlanoux-nguyen@unomaha.edu). Please note any work completed after the 10th of the month will be paid out the following month.
